Hugo Lloris has made clear what he and his France teammates must do in tonight’s World Cup qualifier against Spain.
The French play host on Tuesday evening to La Roja holding a two-point lead over them in Group I’s qualifying group.
“Individually we have to be prepared as best as possible, we are aware,” reflected Lloris in the pre-match Press conference.
“We also need the group to respond as one. We face the best team in the world.
“We are going to suffer, but we know we can cause trouble for Spain.
“We hope to finish the game with the least possible things to regret.”
One distraction for Les Bleus going into the fixture is the criticism that Karim Benzema is continuing to receive from the French media.
“There is no problem between Benzema and the team. We respect him. We are able to help him through this sensitive moment.”
