David Villa has conceded that the Spanish national team were 'annoyed' after their 1-1 draw with Finland.
La Roja could only claim a point in Gijon yesterday evening, and the Barcelona striker has admitted that it was a disappointing result for the team.
“It is hard to take,” he told reporters. “We gave everything and Finland simply defended.
“It is a shame about the result because we deserved a lot more from the game.
“We cannot say that we were surprised because all the team change their approach when they play against us.
“Having said that, there is no excuse. The result is a very bad one, one that we did not expect.
“Our approach will not change for Paris. We have to go to France [on Tuesday] and win. Whatever happens.
“We are all annoyed in the locker room because it was a bad game. But we must reach quickly.”
