Jordi Alba pulls hamstring

Jordi Alba is out of Spain's key World Cup qualifier with France on Tuesday after tearing his hamstring against Finland.

The Barcelona full-back was injured late on in the game yesterday evening, and should be replaced by Nacho Monreal in the starting XI.

Doctors for the national team have confirmed it is a Grade One tear in his right hamstring, which could mean that the 24-year-old will also miss out on Barca's Champions League tie with Paris Saint-Germain next month.

Also out of La Roja's clash in Paris David Silva, who misses the match through suspension following a yellow card on Friday.
