Celta Vigo striker Iago Aspas has admitted that he 'messed up' after receiving a four-match ban.
The LFP Appeals committee handed the 25-year-old the suspension after getting sent off in the Galician derby against Deportivo last weekend.
And the forward has claimed that he was 'disappointed' with the decision.
“I screwed up and now I have to put up with it,” he told reporters. “I am disappointed, but the club s taking steps to try and appeal.
“We knew that it would be a four-match penalty, looking at what other players had received in the past.
“The club made the decision, but I messed up and I am upset.”
