Isco Alarcon has enthused at his return to the Spanish national team and he is looking forward to the upcoming World Cup qualifiers.
The Malaga forward received his first call-up and debut for La Roja in last month’s friendly with Uruguay in Qatar and has now been called up for the team’s competitive fixtures this month.
“I’m happy to be back with the best team in the world, now to enjoy this with my teammates and to get two big wins,” Isco told reporters today.
“This does not stengthen me, but it is true that the call-up is very important for a player and I am very excited to be here.”
The creative talent also reflected on Malaga’s season so far, that sees them in the Champions League quarter-finals.
“The Champions League has a very big impact. I’m very happy with everything we are doing at Malaga and I am now happy to be here and to focus on La Seleccion.”
