Former Atletico Madrid defender Tomas Ujfalusi has praised Coach Diego Simeone, claiming the Argentine has brought the club back to its best.
The Czech Republic international left the Rojiblancos last season to join Turkish side Galatasaray.
And the 34-year-old has admitted that he cannot compare the team he left to what it is now.
“The team is playing well and is returning to show the best of itself,” he told reporters.
“I cannot compare [the two versions of Atleti]. The Coach is different, but the most important thing is that they team is playing well and is returning to its best.
“This team really is phenomenal.”
