‘Granada lacked precision’

Lucas Alcaraz lamented Granada only picking up a point against Levante despite the ‘risks’ he saw his team take towards the end.

The Andalucians sit 15th in La Liga after a 1-1 draw at home to Los Granotes, now four points above the relegation zone.

“We put a lot into this with little level of accuracy, we lacked clarity and precision,” summed up Alcaraz post-match.

“The result brings us a point closer to our objective, but we lost the opportunity to detach ourselves from the group.

“We ended the game playing out wide and in the corners, with one centre-half, with two strikers, we played with the risk of the counter-attack at the end, but the point seems a small prize.

“I’m happy with the intention and attitude. We will have a few absences for the next game [at Athletic Bilbao, but we will prepare for the game well and the squad there will do well.”
