Barcelona will be without full-back Adriano for between four and six weeks after he suffered a hamstring injury on Sunday.
The Brazilian pulled up holding the back of his right leg and had to be replaced midway through the first half of his team’s eventual 3-1 win at home to Rayo Vallecano this Week 28.
Tests carried out have since revealed that he has suffered a tear to his right hamstring, which will require a four-to-six-week period of recovery.
Adriano has struggled with injury on and off this term, with this latest set-back his fourth physically-related absence from the team so far.
