Swansea eye Lacen capture

Swansea’s Michael Laudrup is reportedly keen on returning to Spain in the summer transfer market to pick up Getafe’s Mehdi Lacen.

The Dane, who has just signed a new deal with the newly-crowned League Cup winners, is expected to once more hit La Liga this coming year as he looks to strengthen his Premier League side.

Following on from picking up the likes of Michu, Pablo Hernandez and Jonathan de Guzman from Spain last year, Laudrup is rumoured to be keen in picking up Getafe midfielder Lacen.

The Moroccan international is seen as one of the Madrid side’s most consistent performers this season, albeit only if he has been used on a rotational basis by Coach Luis Garcia.

Lacen, who has been in Spain since 2005 and has played for Alaves and Racing Santander, currently has two years remaining on his contract at the Coliseum Alfonso Perez.
