Gerard Pique says that he is not focused on who Barcelona are paired with in today’s Champions League quarter-final draw.
La Blaugrana are in the pot after this week’s 4-0 Last 16 second leg win over Milan successfully turned around a 2-0 deficit from the first leg.
But in looking forward to Friday’s draw for the next round, the defender asserted that his focus is even further down the line.
“I do not care who we face, I just want to be champions,” responded Pique when asked by reporters last night at the launch of a book written by his father.
“This week’s win over Milan was the biggest win in recent years. This team was not good, but we have shown what we are all about.
“Had we not progressed, I told my father that maybe I would not have come here…”
