Initial contract renewal talks between Coach Paco Jemez and Rayo Vallecano have been so positive, they could be concluded very shortly.
It was widely reported that the tactician, who currently has the Madrid minnows in European qualification contention, was meeting with President Raul Martin Presa this week to open talks on renewing his contract beyond this June.
Reports in both Marca and AS have it that those negotiations, with his agent Daniel Munoz also in attendance, have been positive, with Presa open to Jemez’ conditions and requests and Jemez eager to commit.
It is seen that the parties will meet again on Friday in order to reach a final agreement on financial aspects, before confirmation from the club’s administrators is needed to ratify the terms.
