Clarence Seedorf believes that former club Real Madrid are the favourites to lift their 10th European Cup this season.
Madrid are in Friday’s Champions League quarter-final draw after steering their way past Manchester United in the Last 16.
And for former midfielder Seedorf, who spent four years at the Santiago Bernabeu and won the Champions League with them in 1995, Los Merengues are looking strong.
“I think Real Madrid have a great chance of winning the Champions League,” Seedorf told Marca today.
“Hopefully they’ll be a little bit more fortunate in the next draw, but they will still remain favourites for me.”
