Manuel Pellegrini was pleased with his Malaga team after they drew 1-1 with Real Valladolid on Saturday.
Martin Demichelis' early goal was cancelled out by Manucho late on in the first half to ensure each side had a share of the points.
But the Chilean Coach has claimed that it was a fair result.
“It was a good game,” he told a Press conference. “Both teams played with a great intensity.
“We had a lot of the ball. It was a close game.
“We had two or maybe three clear-cut chances, and Valladolid were also very dangerous.”
