Barcelona director Andoni Zubizarreta has insisted that his team should have had a penalty late on in the game with Real Madrid.
The Blaugrana lost 2-1 to the capital club yesterday, but the board member has claimed that a foul of Adriano should have resulted in a spot kick.
“The images are very clear,” he told reporters. “The penalty is very clear. The fairest result would have been a draw, seeing how the game developed.
“We always play to win. We may be many points ahead of second place, but we are still working every day.
“We must always compete. This League is very complicated and the sooner we can close it out, the better.”
