Leo Baptistao has enthused that Rayo Vallecano have no limits set on their season ambitions, with Europe currently in the crosshairs.
Two consecutive defeats have seen the Madrid minnows slip down to eighth place in the table heading into this weekend’s trip to Deportivo.
However, still only three points away from the sixth and currently final place in Europe, Rayo believe they are still in contention, according to Brazilian forward Baptistao.
“From the beginning of the season we have had no limits. Although the objective is Saturday’s game against Deportivo, we are dreaming of Europe,” commented the 20-year-old to reporters this week.
“We have to be ambitious and have no limits, so that we can move forward.
“We face every game to win. We’ve lost two straight games and we will not relax. We take the ball when playing to create good football, always looking to score more goals.
“My form? All the strikers are calm, it is a matter of time. We are playing well, we have a united squad as always and we will improve our form again.
“At the same time, it is not a very bad situation that we are in.”
