Angel Di Maria will have to sit out Saturday’s League meeting between Real Madrid and Barcelona through suspension.
The Spanish Football Federation [RFEF]’s Competition Committee have confirmed the suspensions off the back of the latest League action from last weekend.
For his quick-fire two yellow cards against Deportivo last weekend, Argentine winger Di Maria has been given a one-game ban, so will be absent for the weekend’s Clasico.
Elsewhere, Mallorca’s Nunes has had his yellow card last weekend annulled, whilst several players have picked up single game bans.
For red cards or accumulation of yellow cards, Zaragoza’s Leo Franco, Atletico’s Gabi, Malaga’s Camacho, Levante’s Xavi Torres, Athletic’s Muniain, Valencia’s Cissokho and Banega, Granada’s Nyom, Espnayol’s Stuani and Osasuna’s Ruben Gonzalez will all sit out Week 26.
