Real Madrid Coach Jose Mourinho will reportedly be coaching Barcelona’s Lionel Messi for a one-off friendly coming up.
Former German international Michael Ballack is believed to be organising a game between a team of players that he shared a dressing room with, and a team of international players he faced during his career.
Ballack, who had spells at Kaiserslautern, Bayer Leverkusen, Bayern Munich and Chelsea, has reportedly convinced Mourinho to coach the international stars’ side, whilst Messi is also believed to have agreed to play in that team.
If true, it will see traditional Clasico opponents Mourinho and Messi working together in the same dressing room, albeit for one game.
Frank Lampard, Didier Drogba, Mesut Ozil, Bastian Schweinsteiger and Ashley Cole are all also said to have confirmed their involvement in the initiative.
