Mubarak Wakaso has been invited back to full training at Espanyol today, after a week-and-a-half training by himself.
The Ghanaian was confined to a solitary fitness programme after returning to the Catalan side two days later than agreed, after representing his country at the Africa Cup of Nations.
After serving 10 days working to his own programme, the player was returned to the main group today and is now available for selection, starting this weekend against Real Valladolid.
Wakaso was also fined by the club for his actions, whilst Coach Javier Aguirre and a number of teammates downplayed the incident’s severity.
