Paco Jemez was sanguine after the final whistle despite his Rayo Vallecano side losing 2-1 to Real Valladolid.
Manucho scored an 80th minute winner to give the Pucela all three points, but the 42-year-old has claimed that his men put in a good performance.
“Despite a brief six minute period, we have played well,” he told a Press conference. “We had the ball and Valladolid hardly caused us any problems.
“But this is La Liga, and when you take your eye off the ball the opposition often exploits it.”
