Trashorras wants Bernabeu upset

Rayo Vallecano midfielder Roberto Trashorras believes his side can go to Santiago Bernabeu and defeat Real Madrid.

The Franjirrojos play their city rivals this evening, and the 31-year-old is confident that his team can make the most of Los Blancos' Champions League tussle against Manchester United on Wednesday.

“We have to go there and believe we can win,” he told Marca. “We know that it's going to be difficult – it always is when you go to the Bernabeu.

“But we have to play to win. We must be bold and play the sort of football we've been playing recently.

“The statistics may say that we are going to struggle, but that's not how we see it.

“They played a very demanding European game a few days, and we have to make the most of that.”
