New Granada boss Lucas Alcaraz has conceded that his men 'made history' against Real Madrid on Saturday night.
An own goal from Cristiano Ronaldo was enough to give El Grana all three points, and the 46-year-old Coach, who was only appointed on Wednesday, admitted that he was less surprised than others about the result.
“Everything has been very quick since I arrived,” he told a Press conference. “But I wasn't as surprised as other people about the win.
“I was the only won during the week saying we could win.
“The level of effort, concentration and teamwork from the players was very high. And through that we have made history.
“This result gives us a great boost going into the next game against Deportivo.”
