Atletico Madrid owner Miguel Angel Gil Marin has been in the Far East trying to find new sponsors for the club.
The capital club have signed a deal with Azerbaijan until the end of next season for shirt sponsorship.
But AS have reported that the Rojiblancos CEO has been in Bangkok and Thailand this week and will travel to Doha on Monday in a bid to find extra funds for the Vicente Calderon club.
