Juan Antonio Anquela conceded that Granada were good in parts, but overall second best to Sevilla on Monday night.
Anquela’s side fell to a 3-0 defeat in the closing fixture of the weekend thanks to goals from Goeffrey Kondogbia, Alvaro Negredo and Gary Medel.
“The result is the outcome of the game. In the first half, at times, we played well. In the second half, it was all over for us,” concluded the Coach at the end.
“Everything that has come after the second goal was very bad for us. In the first half we conceded the first goal but I could not ask for any more.
“Sevilla have been very intense and have not made it easy for us. We have also not been great in everything that we have done.
“Sevilla tightened very well, they had tremendous intensity. We had to take risks and we had to make a change and this disrupted our plans. For me, the game was over at 2-0.”
