Malaga winger Eliseu has reflected that he is confident that he and his teammates have what it takes to knock Barcelona out of the Cup.
The Anchovies host Barca in the second leg of their Copa del Rey quarter-final on Thursday evening holding an advantage with a 2-2 first leg result picked up at the Camp Nou.
“We know Barcelona are a great team, perhaps the best in the world, but we have already demonstrated the way in which we approach the game with enthusiasm, it is what we intend to keep doing too,” the Portuguese told reporters in a pre-match Press conference.
“I am confident that we will be at 100 per cent to try and get through to the semi-finals. The fans are very excited about the Cup and so are we.
“We want to progress to the next round and intend to give everything to try.
“We have a great opportunity to progress in the Copa del Rey and, whilst it is against a very tough opponent, we hope that we can.”
