Carles Puyol has admitted that he is 'very, very happy' to have signed a new deal with the club.
The inspirational captain has extended his deal until June 2016, and has revealed he wants to play for the club until he reaches 40.
“I am very, very happy to have signed,” he told Barca TV. “My idea is to stay here for as many years as I can.
“I really appreciate the efforts made by the club – signing a new contract is very important to me.
“I will go on season-by-season, but my dream is to still be playing by the time I'm 40.”
