Valencia midfielder has hit out at Real Madrid for intimating referees as they prepare to face each other in La Liga this weekend.
The two met in the Copa del Rey on Tuesday with Los Blancos winning 2-0. But the match was overshadowed by a series of controversial refereeing decisions,
which the Argentina international believes is down to the Santiago Bernabeu side's constant protestations.
“The story is always the same,” he told a Press conference. “There are teams like Real Madrid that just constantly talk about referees during the week.
“And so when it comes to the game, it's hard. The images are there for everyone to see, but we are focusing on the next game.
“We know we can hurt them and we will try our best.”
