Rayo Vallecano boss Paco Jemez admitted he was 'very satisfied' with his side after they beat Athletic Bilbao 2-1 on Friday night.
Second half goals from Lass and Piti saw the Franjirrojos claim the three points that took them up to sixth position in the table.
And the 42-year-old Coach has conceded he was delighted with his men after they created history with the highest points total (31) for a Vallecano side at this point in the campaign.
“It is a record that they have earned,” he told a Press conference. “It is not easy to reach that number of points.
“I hope we can go on and make history at the end of the season as well.
“In the first half both sides tried to counteract each other, but in the second you could see we wanted it more.
“I am very satisfied with my players.”
