Granada aim to end home hoodoo

Granada Coach Juan Antonio Anquela thinks his side can break their home hoodoo against Valencia tomorrow.

El Grana picked up a vital win away to Osasuna before the winter break but have struggled terribly at Los Carmenes, winning just once, five games ago against Celta Vigo.

“Valencia are a very complicated opponent, they were third in the Spanish League for several years,” Anquela began at his Press conference today.

“And the two above them don’t count, so it’s as if they were first. They’re also doing well in the Champions League and under their new Coach [Ernesto] Valverde.

“At home we find it hard to win. It costs us, but tomorrow we will see if we can break that streak. We’re looking forward, the team is working well, and we expect a good result.”
