Granada full-back Guilherme Siqueira is reportedly a primary transfer target for Atletico Madrid next summer.
Atletico are reportedly keen to reinforce their left-back position, after a number of muscle-related injuries to Filipe Luis highlighted a perceived lack of coverage in the area.
Diego Simeone has apparently asked for someone to come in during January and that option is not yet ruled out. However, the club are believed really planning for the summer.
Siqueira, who has impressed this season for the struggling Filipinos, is seen as the ideal option to add to the squad for 2013-14, provided that the team qualify for the Champions League.
The 26-year-old former Udinese man was first named in the summer as an object of desire both for Atletico and Valencia. Negotiations with Granada have yet to begin, say Marca, as Simeone is understood to have final say, whilst his buyout clause sits at €25m.
