Sevilla agree fee for Stevanovic?

Sevilla are understood to have reached an agreement to sign Vojvodina’s young Bosnian attacker Miroslav Stevanovic.

Reports in Serbia have the Andalucians as having reached an agreement with the player’s Serbian employers to sign the 22-year-old creative talent for a fee believed to be around the €1.2m mark.

Stevanovic, who is currently coached by former Sevilla player Dejan Vukicevic, was voted as last season’s Player of the Year in Serbia and has been capped five times so far by the Bosnian national team, where he is a teammate of Sevilla centre-back Emir Spahic.

Speculation leading up to the winter market has otherwise had the attacker as headed for the Bundesliga, with Schalke identified as one of a number of interested parties.

However, the Serbian media believe that the player is now heading out to Seville to complete a medical and push through his move to La Liga inside the next few days.

Known for his pace, Stevanovic’s preferred position is on the right wing, which is Jesus Navas’ role with Sevilla.
