Valencia forward Pablo Piatti has conceded that 2012 was a year with 'many ups and downs' for the club.
Los Che finished the 2011/12 campaign in third place and have qualified from this season's Champions League group.
But they also replaced Coach Mauricio Pellegrino with Ernesto Valverde and currently sit in ninth place in La Liga.
“I've always been a positive person and I try to take the best out of a bad situation,” he told the club's official website.
“But it has been a year of many ups and downs. Personally I've experienced some very nice situations.
“I played in competitions that I never dreamed of playing in. I hope though, that my personal success can be accompanied by team success as well.
“We want to win titles and give joy to the fans.”
