Malaga’s Manuel Pellegrini has drawn level with Real Mallorca’s Joaquin Caparros as the active Coach with most La Liga wins.
Pellegrini and Caparros have both presided over 159 wins in the Spanish top flight. The Chilean’s record is slightly more impressive though, as he has took less than eight seasons to achieve it, whereas Caparros has had 11 campaigns on a La Liga bench.
Pellegrini, whose side won 2-0 at Sevilla on Saturday night, has an overall win rate in La Liga of 51 per cent.
