Espanyol striker Christian Stuani has undergone facial surgery after breaking his cheekbone a week ago against Granada.
The 26-year-old fractured his zygomatic arch last weekend, and has had minimal invasive surgery this afternoon.
The Uruguay international will return to training in the next few days and will continue to wear the protective mask he sported against Sevilla on Friday.
