Celta Vigo defender Roberto Lago could be in line for a move to the Celestes’ La Liga rivals Getafe next summer.
The left back, who has been with Celta his entire career, is unhappy with the club’s offer of a new contract, according to Marca. Whereas star striker Iago Aspas earns around €600,000 a year Lago is said to have only been offered €400,000 when negotiations took place.
The 27-year-old’s likeliest destination is apparently the Coliseum Alfonso Perez, with Getafe reportedly willing to pay him almost double that amount.
Lago has made 12 appearances for the Galician club this season, and provided two assists.
