Rayo Vallecano boss Paco Jemez knows Osasuna will pose a threat when the two meet on Friday.
Los Rojillos currently sit in 19th place in La Liga, but the 42-year-old has admitted that his team will not take them lightly.
“I do not know why they're down there,” he told the club's official website. “Osasuna are one of the most intense teams I've seen this season, and that alone is going to make it difficult.
“We are in a good place at the moment, so we're going to go to Pamplona and hope, with a win, to make the top six.
“We know it's going to be difficult and complicated, because despite their position, Osasuna have remained strong.”
He also commented on the remarks made by youngster Nacho Martinez, after he made his debut last weekend against Real Mallorca.
“Nacho will keep his place in the team,” he said. “He did really well and has fresh legs after some rest in the week.”
