Fernando Llorente has been included in Athletic Bilbao’s inconsequential match with Hapoel Kiryat Shmona.
The striker, who made his first start in the League this season for the Basques, was originally one of a number of first-team names left out of the squad for last week’s Europa League trip to Israel.
That game, though, was called off due to security concerns in Tel Aviv and rearranged for this Wednesday in Haifa and now Llorente has been called up.
He is the only senior name to be included, with the rest of the squad consisting of reserves and youth team players.
Marcelo Bielsa’s men already know that they are eliminated from the competition after Lyon and Sparta Prague’s draw in the other group stage match in the same round.
