Real Madrid and Spain custodian Iker Casillas is among five nominees for the FIFA FIFpro goalkeeper of the year award.
The 31-year-old is in competition with Juventus' Gigi Buffon, Bayern Munich's Manuel Neuer, Manchester City's Joe Hart and Chelsea's Petr Cech.
FIFpro is a worldwide footballers union with more than 45,000 members. Every year those members vote in a World XI.
Casillas has won the best 'keeper category every year since 2008, and may well fancy his chances of a fifth straight win after victory at Euro 2012 with Spain.
