Barcelona defender Martin Montoya has commended Real Zaragoza after their battling performance at Camp Nou.
The Blaugrana ran out 3-1 winners in the Catalan capital with goals from Lionel Messi and Alex Song.
But the young full-back has admitted that Manolo Jimenez's side took him by surprise.
“Today was a really tough game,” he told reporters. “We really had to work hard to win the game because Real Zaragoza put us in a difficult position.
“In fact they really surprised us.
“They played very well and had players in the middle of the pitch who moved the ball around very well.”
