Martin Montoya sees value in Spain’s trip out to Panama as it presents an opportunity for him to learn from his senior colleagues.
The full-back was selected in a somewhat experimental squad for this midweek trip across the Atlantic and he is keen to make the most of the experience.
“I am very happy to be here, I think it is a unique experience for all the players in the squad,” commented the Barcelona defender.
“This experience is good for me, I am very happy to be here with everyone, I will try to learn from them and to play some minutes.”
This is the third call-up to the senior squad for the as-yet-uncapped Montoya, who has international experience at every other level for his country.
