Italy Under-21 boss Devis Mangia has praised Spain after his side lost 3-1 to Julen Lopetegui's men in Siena.
Goals from Rodrigo, Gerard Deulofeu and Alvaro Vazquez were enough to give La Roja the win, but the Azzurri Coach believes it was Spain's ruthlessness that cost them the victory.
“We were certainly close to Spain,” he told Rai 2. “But I have to say well done to my lads. In the second half they were great.
“My team were punished whenever they made a mistake though, with a Spanish goal.”
