Pochettino admits he’s to blame

Espanyol boss Mauricio Pochettino has taken full responsibility for his team's 3-0 loss to bottom-of-the-table Osasuna.

Goals from Alvaro Cejudo, Kike Sola and Manuel Onwu were enough to give the away team only their second win of the season, and the 40-year-old Coach has admitted that the result hurt.

“It is normal [for fans to call for my resignation],” he told a Press conference. “I take full responsibility for the result tonight.

“There is an environment that has enveloped the entire club – a bad environment. Today's game was a good opportunity to clear any bad feeling we had, and we haven't taken it.

“The defeat hurts everyone. We have not lived up to expectations.”
