Carles Puyol returned to full training with Barcelona on Friday at the club’s Ciutat Esportiva complex, reports Mundo Deportivo.
The Spanish international dislocated his left elbow in a 2-0 Champions League win over Benfica last month but has since made remarkably good progress.
However, despite the good news for boss Tito Vilanova, Puyol will not be included in the squad for this weekend’s clash with Real Mallorca at the Iberostar Stadium.
The Catalans will hold a further session at 5pm local time on Saturday before travelling to the face Joaquin Caparros’ men the following day.
