Andres Fernandez has commented that he sees Jose Luis Mendilibar as no different to normal, in trying to reverse Osasuna’s bad situation.
The club are currently bottom of the League and Mendilibar has faced speculation about his future as Coach.
However, following on from his declaration that he will not resign and then the President’s backing of him, Mendilibar can also count on the support of his goalkeeper, even if in backhanded manner.
“It is up to everyone to reverse this situation. It is no good for the Coach to go. He is currently like he is when things are going well, just as grumpy, loud and working,” commented Andres to the Press today.
“The situation does feel pressured, but we must put it out of our minds. We have to be clear in our minds so as to pick up the points needed. The match is in our hands and we have to go out and give it everything we have. This is during the week and in particular on Saturdays.
“I have no sense of an ultimatum, we are working well, the workouts are the same and the philosophy remains the same.”
