Rayo Vallecano Coach Paco Jemez has claimed that his side's 2-1 win over Malaga was the best of the season.
Two goals from Piti were enough to give the Franjirrojos the three points, and the 42-year-old tactician couldn't praise his players enough after the final whistle.
“It's the best game we've played,” he told a Press conference. “That's the team I want to see. It is a difficult ask, but we've proved we can do it against the best.
“We conceded an equaliser, but got back into the game playing good football – while I'm here that's what I want from this team.
“We played so well. I want the players to use this game as a reference going forward, because if we play like that, we will win more than we lose.”
