Barcelona goalkeeper Jose Manuel Pinto played down an incident where he was hit by an object in the Copa del Rey game at Alaves.
The 36-year-old, who usually deputises for Victor Valdes in the competition, was struck by an object thrown from the stands in the 51st minute of the match, which Barcelona won 3-0.
However, at the post-match Press he claimed he did not want to attach too much importance to the episode.
“I know that something thrown from the stands hit me but I don’t want to dwell on it,” said Pinto, who was involved in a tussle for the ball at the time.
“I think it was a bread roll and I bled a little but I don’t want to give it too much importance.”
