Valencia midfielder Tino Costa has praised his teammates after their 3-0 win against BATE Borisov in Belarus.
Roberto Soldado scored all three goals as Los Che went top of Group F, but the Argentina midfielder was quick to congratulate the entire team.
“We put in a good performance tonight,” he told uefa.com. “We suffered a bit in La Liga at the weekend [losing 3-2 to Athletic Bilbao], so it feels great to win tonight in the manner that we did.
“This is the Champions League so we were well aware of the level of our opponents in this tournament.”
Valencia lead the group only on goal difference, level with BATE and Bayern Munich on six points.
