Flair player Ever Banega is hopeful he will start for Valencia tomorrow against BATE Borisov, opponents he rates very highly.
The Argentine midfielder returned from a long period of absence in Saturday's 3-2 win over Athletic Bilbao at Mestalla.
“It was an important win,” the 24-year-old told reporters before flying out to Belarus for Los Che's latest Champions League clash. “We went out to win, the team must always go out with that mentality.
“I feel good, I'm looking forward with hope, waiting for my opportunity. The important thing is that the team goes out to win every game.”
“A difficult team to play well against,” is Banega's description of Group F leaders BATE. “We must be calm to deal with the 90 minutes.”
