Anquela damning in defeat

Granada Coach Juan Antonio Anquela was candid in defeat, admitting his team deserved to lost to Real Zaragoza on Sunday.

Two first half goals from Helder Postiga and Victor Rodriguez gave the Blanquillos a 2-1 win, and the 55-year-old has conceded that his men were second-best throughout.

“Real Zaragoza were better than us,” he told a Press conference. “They were far better than us. We struggled all evening and didn't play as a team. We didn't really do anything right.

“Obviously, we try to avoid making mistakes, but tonight it happened all too often.

“We looked like a team without soul, and that to me is very worrying.

“I trust my team though, and I'm convinced we'll get stronger.”
