Pellegrini ‘satisfied’ with win

Malaga Coach Manuel Pellegrini has claimed he is 'satisfied' with his team's 2-1 win over Real Valladolid.

An 87th minute strike from Joaquin was enough to give Los Boquerones the three points, and the Chilean tactician has admitted he is pleased with his men.

“I am very satisfied,” he told a Press conference. “Because the opponents were a complicated one. Our team was able to maintain concentration, and although we weren't brilliant in attack, we created a lot of chances and managed to win.”

He also commented on the state of the pitch at La Rosaleda, as well as the team's Champions League match with Milan on Wedensday.

“The pitch is in a poor condition and we are concerned about it. There was no mobility from our players in the middle of the pitch.

“Today, nobody was thinking about Milan. We have four days to prepare for that game.”
