Camacho: We must respect Cacereno

Malaga midfielder Ignacio Camacho has warned of the dangers of underestimating Copa del Rey opponents Cacereno.

Los Blanquiazules face the team from near the Portuguese border in the last 32 and the Spain Under-21 international [pictured, right] believes they must be shown the utmost respect if Manuel Pellegrini’s men wish to progress.

“We have to respect Cacereno because experience says that Segunda B teams always create problems.

“I’m sure they’ll give everything and they will have great enthusiasm to see if they can cause an upset, so it will be a difficult tie,” he told reporters.

Camacho also spoke of Real Valladolid, who Malaga entertain on Saturday evening at La Rosaleda.

“We have to carry on our good run and this will be a very important and crucial game for us,” he acknowledged.
